The 2017 Toronto Geriatrics Update Course is a two-day continuing medical education (CME) program designed to provide physicians and frontline allied health professionals with the latest relevant and evidence-based best practices in caring for older patients. This year’s event features a series of lectures, workshops and case conferences that will address a variety of current issues in geriatric care such as caring for complex older patients with heart failure, the latest info on treating dementia, advance care planning, prescribing cannabis, caring for older Indigenous patients and more.
